Went to see a great duo on Friday evening. Seats were great. The bar is large enough so that you don't feel crowded but small enough to make it feel like a HomeTown place. Had the walleye fish fry. It was a 12 out of 10. Amazing fish, amazing fries!!!!
Cute and comfy. The perfect bar vibes.. pool and pull Tabs and Guinness on tap.. priceless architecture surrounds this bar with a historical places attraction to see across the street. Get a little tipsy? Take a romantic walk through a very beautiful and old part of town. The high bridge is in view in the background. It’s as romantic or everyday as you need. Very cool. Will be back.
We've been meaning to check out Keenan's for years. Wow. We've been missing out! Pool tables, darts, board games, pull tabs, touch tunes AND a pinball machine? All the things. Loved the diverse patrons and have already been back again within a week. The food is TASTY and decent serving size for the price. We ordered French fries, fried chicken sandwich, Chicago dog and the mixed green salad. Loved all of it!
The best hot dogs I’ve had in the twin cities… they seem to be ramping up their dining options with pasta nights etc. (haven’t tried, but will one day) but based on the food I have had here I’m sure it’s great. Service can be slow at times, seems like they only have one or two bartenders/waitresses but drinks are fairly cheap and you’ll get the best Chicago/coney island hot dogs in the cities. One of my favorite bars in St. Paul. 10/10 would recommend.
Found this place from a Reddit post saying their burgers were great, and it did not disappoint. Love a good dive bar. The owners were very kind! We had two different burgers with fries and cheese curds and they were delicious. Definitely one of the better burgers in St. Paul.
One of my favorite places. The atmosphere is a comfortable local pub. Staff are attentive and friendly. Food is surprisingly good. The new owners are working hard to make this a special place for the neighborhood. Best coney island in the Cities. Try the chicken sandwich.
My favorite spot! Awesome staff, food and drink selection. Love the patio in the summer and the cozy couch area and pool table all year round. Truly a friendly neighborhood spot, plus phenomenal food. 10/10.
